1st day blooper?

This was supposed to be posted last May 29, 2012. But since I just started my blog, so here it is. :D

Well, like everybody else, when we have our firsts, may it be in school, interview, work, etc., we want to look our best, right? Last May 29 was our first day of training here in Analog Devices, Inc. Greensboro site. So we prepared and dressed to impress.haha.

So next thing was to go to the bldg of Analog. Did I mention that we are fortunate enough NOT to have a car? ('coz we were not able to secure our license, even though the company could have provided a rental car). So given that fact, we need to walk from Homewood Suites (where I stay) to Analog bldg. Thanks to google map, we were able to locate the bldg of Analog. So we walked to it.

So, we went to where the lobby is and is welcomed by their staff there. We mentioned who our mentor is and he said that our mentor was located not on that building but on the other. So, haha. Two buildings. And the 2nd bldg was in fact closer to the hotel -- just behind the hotel. Call that very lucky. Since we don't have a car, we gotta take a walk again. Fortunately, not the same path we had going to the 1st bldg. There was a shortcut! Thank God.

So, imagine me walking on that "stoney" path with high heeled-shoes. Haha. Luckily, we got to bldg 2 fast compared to the first route. And we were able to meet our mentor there. But hey, even if it didn't turn out great at the start, the day ended great though. At least we get to see a part of the neighborhood. :)
